The long-awaited Summer Holidays are nearly here! All parents want the best experience possible for their kids. As educators, linguists, and parents ourselves, we at Spell Languages have built a Summer Camp Program that brings everything a kid could want. Central to Geneva, we offer camps in English, French, and German, including immersive and fun adventures, carefully selected themes, passionate and creative teachers, daily outings to local sites, games in the park, arts and crafts activities, songs, stories, and much more!
Week 2 Weekly Theme: Team Friendship!
Who finds a friend finds a treasure… so what if the greatest treasure your child could discover this summer wasn’t gold or jewels? From July 6 to July 10, children will face playful challenges that can only be solved through kindness, empathy, encouragement, and teamwork. Along the way they will discover that friendships can be found in unexpected places, that everyone brings something special to the group, and that supporting one another makes every adventure more meaningful.
Immersive Language Play
Because language is best learned when practiced, campers will play with sounds, words, and storytelling, naturally expanding their vocabulary and confidence as they express what they see and learn.
Daily Activities
During this week-long experience, your kids will set off on an imaginative journey to Friendship Island, a magical place where every corner of the island hides an important lesson about friendship. Here are a few examples:
- navigate an obstacle course while blindfolded, guided only by a friend’s voice, to build trust and communication;
- work together to untangle a human knot without letting go, encouraging teamwork and patience;
- pass a thread across the group while sharing positive messages, creating a visual web that represents connection and belonging.
Daily Crafts
Because expressing yourself goes beyond language, an important part of daily activities is crafts! Your children will, among other things...
- decorate a puzzle piece with a drawing or word showing a personal strength, then connect all pieces to form a complete puzzle celebrating how everyone fits together;
- create a collaborative Friendship Island using different materials;

design and exchange friendship bracelets using colors that represent qualities like kindness, trust, and teamwork.
Daily Outings
At least once a day, including one weekly full day, your little adventurers will be outside enjoying the sun! This week, outings will include Signal de Bougy, Arve Beach, and more!
